Internet Training Day.

 

We will be using two facilities. The Cambridgeshire Education IT centre at Waterbeach, and the Universities terminal room in the centre of Cambridge.

 

The delegates will be divided into two groups. Each group will visit both facilities with a break for lunch.

 

Instruction will be given by Frans Hoffman and Linda Swanson of the Netherland Education Department, and Olga Londer of The World ORT Union.

 

Delegates will be transported by car or coach to both venues

This day will be devoted to evaluation and planning

 

Tuesday 21st March

Plenary sessions.

This is deliberately in outline. Recent developments at RISC and some technical matters will be the subject of a presentation by Aad Nienhuis.

There will be computer access to the Internet through the local Cambridge node. Detailed instructions for logging on are on a separate sheet. Please note that we have to pay for every phone call, so please restrict your use to this facility. The workshops are funded differently.
